Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, or one year MA experience with CCMA/NCRMA certification.
• Basic typing and word processing skills.
• BLS certification within 14 days is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule tests and prepare patient specimens following policy.
• Assist physicians and nurses with procedures and enter data into medical records.
• Maintain exam rooms, supply inventories, logs, and equipment checks.
• Greet patients, register, pre-certify tests and procedures, and process insurance forms.
• Perform vital signs and simple nurse-assist tasks as directed.
