Job summary

Mosaic Life Care is seeking a Medical Assistant for Internal Medicine Plaza 4 in Saint Joseph, MO. This on-site role supports patient flow, data collection and care under supervision of clinic leadership.

Responsibilities include assisting with examinations, administering medications, managing patient check-in, and coordinating referrals and tests. Prior CMA/RMA/BLS certifications are preferred but not specified in all postings.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma required.
• If hired after 06/01/2021, complete a Medical Assistant training program.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patient and documents patient’s responses in the medical record according to standard.
• Administers and documents prescribed medications and treatments as directed by the clinic.
• Observes, records and reports patient responses to medications and treatments to providers.
• Documents and communicates medication refills.
• Assists providers with examinations and procedures and prepares the sterile field.
