Sutter Health in Los Gatos, CA is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and clerical support to providers and the patient care team in the Internal Medicine setting. You will assist with back office duties and coordinate workflow to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires completion of a Medical Assistant program, an externship, and BLS certification, with typical duties including vital signs, patient prep, injections, and documentation in the EHR.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program (Must present diploma within 90 days)
• Completion of Medical Assistant externship (160 hours)
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
• Minimum 1 year of recent relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical and clerical support to providers and the patient care team.
