Job summary

The Vancouver Clinic, Inc. P.S. is hiring a Medical Assistant for the Internal Medicine team at the Salmon Creek location.

The role includes rooming patients, collecting information, preparing patients for examination, and assisting with patient care with on-site training to work at top of scope. EMT and CNA are welcome to apply. WA State MA-R credential is expected to be obtained during the required timeframe.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a nationally recognized MA certification or formal MA program is required.
• Washington State MA credential must be obtained within required timeframe and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and collect patient information.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist with delivery of patient care.
• Support use of electronic health records (Epic).
• Receive onsite training to work at top of scope.

Join the Internal Medicine team as a Medical Assistant at the Salmon Creek location!

Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, assist with overall delivery of patient care, and receive additional hands-on training to work at top of scope. * EMT and CNA welcome to apply. Expectation to receive onsite training and obtain WA State MA-R credential.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week

On call opportunity also available with a varying schedule Monday through Friday between 7:00am and 5:30pm, hours are not guaranteed. Must be available 3 days per week.

Pay range starts at $20.59/hour, actual rate commensurate with experience and licensure/certifications.

Requirements:

• - High School diploma or equivalent
• - Required completion of one of the following : Combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized MA certification or completion of a formal MA program or formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces or *EMT training and certification or current Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certification. Must obtain Washington State Medical Assistant credential within required timeframe and maintain in active status throughout employment.
• - Current healthcare provider BLS required
• - Experience with an electronic health record, Epic experience strongly preferred

Pay Range:
$21.81 - $30.53
