Job summary

SEP Education Team is offering a Medical Assistant Paid Training Program in Kentucky. The 12-week, full-time program runs January 4, 2027 – March 26, 2027, with interns hired as SEP employees from day one and paid accordingly as they complete classroom and office-based training.

Successful completion leads to a full-time MA position. The program emphasizes OSHA/CLIA/HIPAA compliance and patient-facing responsibilities under a preceptor in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older.
• Have at least 1 year of work experience.
• Have obtained a High School Diploma or GED.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Be a US citizen or permanent resident/green card holder.

Responsibilities

• Complete the internal MA training program.
• Pass a final check off after hands-on training and in-office training with a preceptor.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/CLIA and HIPAA regulations.
• Create a positive impression with patients, family members, and visitors.
