Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Three years of directly-related Medical Assistant experience required.
• Knowledge of EPIC software and ability to document in EMR.
• Strong communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary health care team.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and perform basic clinical duties as an outpatient support.
• Obtain patient history, chief complaint, medications and allergies; document in EMR.
• Assist with injections, POCT, specimen collection and room cleanup.
• Manage patient intake, scheduling, and respond to clinic messages per policy.
• Coordinate with physicians and nurses; transmit test results and records timely.
• Handle medication refills per clinic policy and support department call center.
