Spero Health, Inc. in Somerset, KY is seeking a Medical Assistant to support an integrated care team including counseling, case management, and medically assisted treatment.

You will help with patient flow, vitals, and coordinating care to support the mission of saving lives and restoring relationships. The role calls for 1–3 years of MA experience, CPR certification, and preferred exposure to phlebotomy and injections.

Competenze

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.
• 1-3 years as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• CPR certification must be obtainable and maintained.

Mansioni

• Schedule patient appointments and manage check-ins/outs.
• Answer incoming calls and check voice messages regularly.
• Check patients in/out and monitor patient flow.
• Perform urine drug screens, take vitals, and assist with evaluations.
• Call in patient medication as directed by Physician.
• Input accurate patient information into the electronic health record.
• Send prior-authorizations to insurance companies.
• Daily financial summary and balance of payments received.
• Responsible for cash collection and verification of benefits.
• Review the Prescription Monitoring Database.
• Provide education and resource information regarding medications.
