Spero Health, Inc. in Cookeville, TN is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our integrated care team. You will support scheduling, patient intake, vitals, urine drug screens, and EHR data entry while assisting clinicians and coordinating with insurance processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments.
• Answer incoming calls and check voice messages regularly.
• Check patients in/out and monitor patient flow.
• Perform urine drug screens and take vitals.
• Call in patient medications as directed by Physician.
• Input accurate patient information into the electronic health record.
• Send prior-authorizations to insurance companies.
• Daily cash collection and verification of benefits.
