Job summary

Kenosha Community Health Center and Pillar Health, a Division of Kenosha Community Health Center, are seeking a Medical Assistant to support its Psychiatric Providers at the 22nd Avenue location. The MA will perform clinical, clerical, and administrative duties in a collaborative care team.

Open positions require MA program completion, CMA status within six months, CPR certification, and compliance with immunization and PPD requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Medical Assistant Program required.
• Must produce official school diploma or transcripts.
• Must obtain Certified Medical Assistant status within six months of hire and maintain certification.
• Must be current on ACIP immunizations & PPD status.

Responsibilities

• Assist medical provider with examinations, treatments, tests, and procedures using sterile techniques.
• Document accurately according to standards and provide after visit summaries.
• Schedule next visit and coordinate referrals as directed.
• Administer injections and immunizations per policy and procedure.
• Maintain safe, clean clinic environment and manage medications as needed.
• Support patient flow and pre-visit planning to ensure on-time visits.
