Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. in Muncie, IN is seeking part-time Medical Assistant Instructors to teach year-round classes on mornings (and PRN evenings). The role covers clinical and administrative skills with up to 24 students per class, using Ross curriculum.

Classes run 4.5 hours, Monday through Friday, with 9–22.5 hours weekly. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of medical assisting experience and national certification, plus a passion for teaching and student success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the medical assisting field and formal training from an accredited institution. Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant.
• Interest in teaching or prior experience
• Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Medical Assisting classroom with a maximum of 24 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Class sessions are 4.5 hours in either day or evening sessions.
• Learning the material and delivering lectures and demonstrations, working from the Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
• This is a part-time position, typically 9-22.5 hours per week.
