Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a Medical Assistant faculty member to join our team in Concord, CA. The role involves delivering prepared instructional content, advising students, and supporting program initiatives to advance healthcare education.

The successful candidate will have at least a high school diploma, and preferably graduate from an accredited medical assisting program with CMA/RMA/NRCMA certification. The position offers full-time employment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level education not required; high school diploma required with medical assisting program preferred.
• Preferred CMA/RMA/NRCMA certification.
• Experience with MS Office and LMS platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Educate and provide technological and academic training to students while delivering prepared instruction.
• Ensure students meet competencies outlined in the syllabus.
• Design and execute lesson plans considering diverse learning styles and accommodations.
• Engage in retention activities and provide advising and counseling to students.
• Refer at-risk students to campus resources to support high achievement.
• Provide ongoing student advisement and academic counseling.
• Utilize diverse evaluation methods to assess student abilities.
• Participate in academic committees for program and student-life enrichment.
• Uphold company policies and regulatory compliance.
