Medical Assistant Instructor - Lab Instructor

Join our team as a full-time Medical Assistant Lab Instructor at Unitek Learning, located in Fremont, CA. We are seeking passionate individuals who enjoy mentoring and helping students succeed. No prior teaching experience or Canvas knowledge is required, as comprehensive training and faculty development are provided.

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching and training students using prepared curriculum
• Designing lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles
• Providing academic advising and career counseling
• Engaging in retention activities and supporting institutional initiatives
• Assessing student progress and referring at-risk students to support services
• Participating in academic committees and supporting company policies

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Experience in medical assisting and clinical practice (minimum 3 years)
• Knowledge of medical assisting practices and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills, with the ability to work independently

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly rate: $30 - $37, based on experience and qualifications

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, on campus in Fremont, CA.
