Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant Instructor at the Portage campus. The role involves teaching five morning classes and two evening classes per week, reviewing lesson plans, grading assignments, and promoting student retention.

Administrative duties and externship support are also part of the position. The ideal candidate has a recognized credential in the field, plus several years of practical experience, and must be able to teach all scheduled classes while

Qualifications

• Bachelor or program-recognized credential in the content area with CHEA or US Dept of Education recognition.
• Minimum of three (3) years of occupational experience in the teaching content area (past 7 years).
• Certification from listed bodies or current licensure as required by law to work in the field.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in the Ross curriculum and review lesson plans.
• Grade and electronically record assignments and monitor student retention.
• Support externship activities and perform related duties as required.
• Teach 5 morning classes and 2 evening classes weekly and participate in administrative tasks.
