Vivo Infusion is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Princeton infusion center. You will welcome patients, assist medical staff, and deliver safe, compassionate care in accordance with guidelines and regulations.

The ideal candidate has prior administrative experience, strong initiative, and the ability to work independently. The role includes patient reception, scheduling, chart updates, and front-end support, plus collaboration with our clinical team to ensure quality care.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent, required.
• Medical Assistant Certification, preferred
• CPR/BLS, required prior to start date.
• 1 year of experience working within a clinical environment, required.
• 1 year in an administrative, patient-facing, or customer service role, required.
• Phlebotomy and lab processing skills, preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Room clinic patients and update their chart with the required information.
• Communicate pertinent patient data to providers and nurses to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
• Greet patients, assist with scheduling, manage phone calls, and process payments.
• Oversee efficient turnover of exam rooms and assist in the exam room as needed.
• Collect, prepare, and submit ordered patient lab specimens.
• Assist with prior authorizations and document processes.
• Triage calls and document messages; manage supplies as directed.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
