Mercy is seeking Medical Assistants to support providers in a medical office. The role includes direct and indirect patient care, documentation, and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. You will work under supervision within your scope of practice and in alignment with Mercy's mission.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, active MA certification, and BLS within 90 days for Hospital Outpatient DEPs. Training through MA Clinic Academy is required for new hires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must obtain/maintain MA certification (RMA/CCMA/CMA).
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire for hospital outpatient.

Responsabilités

• Collaborates in clinic workflow and patient/significant other assessment.
• Documents subjective and objective data per policy.
• Demonstrates patient safety techniques and infection control.
• Works as part of the clinic team to accomplish daily objectives.
