Job summary

Amboy Medical Practice, PC / Richmond Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant to support OB/GYN services in a day shift, 7.5 hours. You will prepare examination rooms, record vitals, and assist providers. Training provided for preferred experience.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, Medical Assistant Certification, BLS, and prior medical office experience is a plus. Salary range shown confirms hourly compensation of $23.37–$24.72.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Medical Assistant Certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares examination rooms, ensuring proper supplies/equipment are available.
• Notifies manager of defective or malfunctioning equipment.
• Calls patients into examining room, prepares patients for examinations/in-office procedures.
• Obtains and records vitals including but not limited to height, weight, and blood pressure.
• Verbally notifies provider of abnormal results, obtains specimens, performs phlebotomy, etc...
• Completes assigned tasks as needed and as directed by provider, nurse, manager, or lead.
