Job summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a Medical Assistant II to support patient care under the supervision of a licensed practitioner at the Spokane clinic. The role builds on MA I responsibilities and requires adherence to clinical policies and procedures.

Candidates must have MA training/certification and Washington MA Certification, plus BLS within 30 days of hire; a minimum of six months healthcare experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with hands-on clinical training.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification required at hire.
• Within 30 days: BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform MA II duties under the delegation of a licensed practitioner.
• Assist in providing patient care for assigned clinic/location.
• Follow established policies and procedures and comply with regulations.
