Job summary

Covenant Health Plainview is hiring for multiple Medical Assistant II positions to support Rural Health clinics. The MA II will work under a licensed practitioner to provide patient care and handle clinical tasks as directed in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Plainview, TX.

Preferred candidates have 1 year MA experience with vital signs, injections, and medication administration; a National BLS certificate within 30 days of hire is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of work experience in a role similar to a medical assistant that includes vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire is required.
• Eligible for the job requires completing the listed coursework/training paths.

Responsibilities

• Assist under a licensed practitioner to provide patient care.
• Perform MA II duties per established policies and procedures.
• Work onsite at Covenant Health Plainview, TX location.
