Job summary

Providence Medical Foundation in Santa Rosa is seeking a Medical Assistant II to support licensed practitioners and perform duties to assist patient care. This on-site role builds on MA I responsibilities and requires BLS within 30 days, plus at least 6 months of healthcare experience and MA experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces or minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes vital signs, injections, and medication administration
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 6 months Healthcare experience
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience
