Job summary

Providence Medical Foundation is seeking a Medical Assistant II to support physicians and care teams in our Napa clinic. The MA II performs all duties of the MA I and is fully competent in clinical tasks under a licensed practitioner's delegation, following established policies and regulations.

The role emphasizes patient-focused care, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with the Providence Clinical Network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces or Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
• 6 months Healthcare experience.
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
