Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with hands-on clinical training.
• Graduate of a registered MA apprenticeship program.
• 1 year MA clinical experience OR 2 years military medical training with vitals, injections and meds.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 6 months healthcare experience.
• Minimum 6 months medical assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• The MA II works under a licensed practitioner to perform duties to assist patient care.
• The role includes performing all MA I duties and is competent in clinical needs for the clinic/location.
