Job summary

Nemours is seeking Medical Assistants for our Radnor, PA location. The MA helps coordinate patient flow by collecting and reviewing clinical data for intake and entering pertinent history into the medical record under the provider's direction.

Medical Assistants serve as a liaison among patients, families, and the care team. MA II/III require experience and certification, with ongoing professional development and mentorship of newer staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain BLS through AHA within 90 days.
• Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program or MA certification required (see below).
• Certification required (see below).
• Acceptable certifications CMA, RMA, NCMA and CCMA.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• The MA is an important liaison between the patient/family, provider, and other care team members.
• Coordinates patient flow by assisting in clinical data collection and review for patient intake, ensuring the provider has the appropriate information.
• Enters pertinent history in the medical record.
• Performs and assists with clinical procedures per protocol.
