Nemours is seeking a Medical Assistant II for our Media, PA location. The MA II coordinates patient flow, collects and reviews clinical data for intake, and enters pertinent history into the medical record as directed by the provider.

Responsibilities include assisting with clinical procedures, mentoring newer staff, and serving as a liaison among patients, families, and the care team. Travel to other sites may be required.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain BLS through AHA within 90 days.
• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or certification via alternate pathway.
• Certification required (see below).
• Acceptable certifications: CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical and administrative tasks.
• Mentor and train new Medical Assistants.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with clinical procedures as directed by the provider and per protocol.
• Serve as liaison between patient/family, provider, and care team members.
