UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Medical Assistant II to provide clinical care and clerical support in a busy clinic. Under licensed clinician supervision, you will assist providers, collect vitals, perform EKGs and phlebotomy, and help with patient setup and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant credential and BLS/HS certification are required.
• Licensure or credentialing by MA boards in Massachusetts as applicable.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam rooms and record vitals.
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care tests.
• Assist with injections, exams, and patient chart documentation.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Process prescriptions and refills as directed.
