Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program (diploma within 90 days)
• Completion of Medical Assistant externship (160 hours)
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
• 1 year of recent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical and clerical support to providers and patient care teams to deliver high-quality care.
• Maintains smooth patient flow and supports the medical plan of care implementation.
• Performs vital signs, prepares patients for exams, and administers injections.
• Interprets data and instructions furnished in various formats and communicates clearly with diverse audiences.
