Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistants training per California Medical Board requirements or one year on-the-job medical assisting training.
• BLS-Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical and clerical support to providers and members of the patient care team.
• Performs back office and patient-related tasks supporting delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Assists in implementing the medical plan of care and communicates with patients and families.
• Interprets data and instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Maintains time management and organizational standards to meet deadlines.
