Job summary

Ideal candidates are registered or certified medical assistants with six months of related experience, CPR/BLS, and a commitment to HIPAA compliance; a promotional pathway is available to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant with six months of related work experience.
• Medical Assistant credentials must be from NHA, AAMA or AMT with in-person proctored exams.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients in clinic and perform vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy.
• Prepare exam rooms, charts, and coordinate patient flow.
• Assist with examinations, procedures and lab tests.
• Administer medications under physician supervision per standing orders.
