Job summary

MaineGeneral Medical Center is seeking an MA II to support the Pulmonary team. Under supervision of medical staff, you will perform routine clinical and administrative duties to keep visits running smoothly, assisting both patients and providers.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, assisting with examinations and basic diagnostics, documenting care, and managing scheduling, registrations, and supplies. A team-focused, patient-first approach is essential.

Qualifications

  • Work experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Certification by an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Education: Associate degree in Medical Assisting from an accredited school.

What We're Looking For

Previous Work Experience: Work experience as a Medical Assistant.

Certification: Certified by an accredited Medical Assistant program.

Education: Possession of an associate degree in Medical Assisting from an accredited school.

Compensation Information

$19.65 - $36.14 The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials. We are proud to offer a competitive total rewards package designed to recognize our caregivers and support them in delivering exceptional care to the communities we serve.
