Job summary

Berkshire Health Systems is seeking a Medical Assistant II to support practitioners and patients across Berkshire County. The role requires assisting with procedures, keeping the office running smoothly, and floating to different sites as needed.

The position is full-time, with hours 7:30am-5:00pm and a pay range of $18.95–$28.42 per hour. Comprehensive benefits accompany the role, with opportunities to cover multiple office locations.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician's office preferred.
• Experience handling multiple phone lines and excellent clerical/organizational skills required.
• Experience in specimen testing preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Medical terminology required.

Responsibilities

• Assist practitioners in procedures and patient care as required.
• Float to multiple Berkshire County offices to meet staffing needs.
• Maintain smooth office flow with a patient-first approach.
• Travel to other office sites as needed within Berkshire County.
• Read and follow written and verbal directions; adapt to fast-paced environment.
