Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have CMA/RMA certification or registration.
• 2-4 years medical assistant, clinical support, or ambulatory care experience.
• Basic Life Support certification preferred; knowledge of ambulatory care workflows and infection prevention.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, document vital signs, reconcile medications and allergies, and prepare visit documentation.
• Assist physicians and licensed staff with exams, procedures, screenings, and patient education materials.
• Perform point-of-care testing, specimen collection, labeling, and related documentation.
• Perform approved medication support, injections, immunizations, or testing as directed by site protocols.
• Coordinate routine follow-up activities, including instructions, lab/imaging prep, refills, and messages.
• Monitor exam room readiness, supplies, equipment, and infection prevention practices.
