Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant training program from an accredited institution or equivalent experience as allowed by state law.
• Typically two (2) years of experience as a medical assistant or in a similar clinical support role.
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant through an accredited professional organization (e.g., AAMA, AMT, ARMA, NCCT, NHA, NAHP, AMCA) or equivalent credential as recognized by Kettering Health.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
