Job summary

Kettering Health is seeking a Medical Assistant II for our Centerville outpatient office. You will support patient care by handling intake, assisting with routine procedures, and performing documentation to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, and current MA certification with BLS. Experience in ambulatory care and knowledge of efficient clinic operations are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant through an accredited organization (e.g., AAMA, AMT, ARMA, NCCT, NHA, NAHP, AMCA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Supports patient care by performing intake and assisting with routine procedures.
• Performs documentation to ensure accurate medical records and a welcoming environment.
• Assists healthcare providers in outpatient/ambulatory care settings.
