Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Completion of Medical Assistant training program.
• Typically two years of experience as a medical assistant or similar clinical support role.
• Current Medical Assistant certification (e.g., AAMA, AMT, ARMA, NCCT, NHA, NAHP, AMCA) or equivalent as recognized by Kettering Health.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Supports patient care by performing both clinical and administrative tasks in outpatient/ambulatory settings.
• Assists providers with patient intake, routine procedures, and documentation.
