Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Concordville, PA is seeking a Medical Assistant II to join our team. The MA II coordinates patient flow, collects/ reviews clinical data for intake, and enters history into the medical record under provider direction.

Responsibilities include assisting with clinical procedures, mentoring new MAs, and supporting multiple Nemours locations in the Delaware Valley. A minimum 2 years of MA experience and current BLS are required.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
High School diploma or GED required.
Must obtain BLS through AHA within 90 days.
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or certification via alternate pathway.
Certification required (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA).
Demonstrated proficiency in clinical and administrative tasks.
Mentor and train new Medical Assistants.

Responsibilities

Coordinate patient flow by assisting in clinical data collection and review for patient intake.
Enter pertinent history in the medical record.
Assist with clinical procedures as directed by the provider.
Support clinics at Nemours locations in the Delaware Valley.
Serve as liaison between patient/family, provider, and care team members.
