Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED; completion of a Medical Assistant training program from an accredited institution or equivalent experience as allowed by state law.
• Typically two (2) years of experience as a medical assistant or in a similar clinical support role.
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant through an accredited professional organization or equivalent credential as recognized by Kettering Health.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsabilidades

• The Medical Assistant II supports patient care by performing clinical and administrative tasks in outpatient and ambulatory care settings.
• This role assists healthcare providers with patient intake, routine procedures, and documentation.
• Ensures a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned; aligned with Kettering Health's mission and B Safe program.
