Job summary

Sutter Health in Fairfield, CA seeks a Medical Assistant to provide back-office and patient-care support under clinician supervision. You will assist with vital signs, exam prep, injections, and prepare patients for visits, while helping maintain workflow.

Requires MA program graduation, 160-hour externship completion, HS diploma or GED, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of relevant experience; full-time days, 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with diploma due within 90 days.
• Completion of MA externship (160 hours) verified on MA school site.
• BLS Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide back-office and patient-care support to the care team.
• Assist with vital signs, exam prep, and injections.
• Maintain workflow and patient flow under clinician supervision.
