Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and welcoming patient experience with pre-visit preparation.
  • Assist with medical appointments as instructed by the provider.
  • Clean, prepare and stock clinical rooms.
  • Communicate with patients and other providers about care as instructed by the provider.
  • Document accurately about the visit in the electronic medical record.

How You Contribute and Succeed

The Medical Assistant role will provide outstanding service, compassion, and care to our patients. They will work as part of the care team with the Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to ensure the patient has the best possible experience.

Duties include:

  • providing a warm and welcoming patient experience while preparing the patient and their information for their visit with their provider
  • assisting with the medical appointment as instructed by the provider
  • cleaning, preparing and stocking rooms
  • communicating with the patients and other providers about their care as instructed by the provider
  • documenting accurately about the visit in the electronic medical record

The right person for this role will delight in providing a great experience to the patient, will have a curious mind that always looks for a way to improve, and be compassionate for patients experiencing chronic and/or acute pain. Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certificate of completion of a Medical Assistant program required.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Experience in pain management or specialty care preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems; eClinicalWorks experience a plus.

We prefer at least two years of experience but are willing to train newer teammates with the right focus on patient care, service, and teamwork.

  • High school diploma
  • Certificate of completion of a Medical Assistants/ Aides course
  • Previous work experience preferred.
  • Current ACLS and/or CPR certification
