Harbor Community Health Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant II to provide direct and indirect clinical support to providers, perform advanced clinical procedures, support care coordination, and assist in training staff.
The MA II will prepare exam rooms, assist during exams, perform venipuncture and injections, document in EMR, educate patients, and help improve workflow and patient flow within a primary care setting.

The Medical Assistant II (MA II) provides direct and indirect clinical support to providers to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. In addition to core medical assistant duties, the MA II performs advanced clinical procedures, supports care coordination, contributes to workflow improvements, and assists in training and mentoring staff.

The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust.
HarborCHC is open Monday-Thursday 7:00 am-7:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, and Saturday 8:00 am-5:00 pm with occasional overtime or other shifts based on clinic needs. This is a non-exempt position, and any overtime must be approved by your supervisor in advance.
