MidSouth Pain Treatment Center is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will support Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers, prepare patients, assist during appointments, and help maintain clean, stocked rooms across our Georgia practices.
We welcome new graduates and provide on-the-job training. A High school diploma, Medical Assistant certificate, and BLS/CPR are preferred. Proficiency with EMR systems is a plus, with eClinicalWorks experience a bonus.

The Medical Assistant role will provide outstanding service, compassion, and care to our patients. They will work as part of the care team with the Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to ensure the patient has the best possible experience. Duties include: providing a warm and welcoming patient experience while preparing the patient and their information for their visit with their provider, assisting with the medical appointment as instructed by the provider, cleaning, preparing and stocking rooms, communicating with the patients and other providers about their care as instructed by the provider and documenting accurately about the visit in the electronic medical record.
The right person for this role will delight in providing a great experience to the patient, will have a curious mind that always looks for a way to improve, and be compassionate for patients experiencing chronic and/or acute pain. To be successful in this role, the person will be a great team member, working together with others, kind and friendly, open to feedback for growth, and a role model of our values.
We prefer at least two years of experience but are willing to train newer teammates with the right focus on patient care, service, and teamwork.
