Job summary

Mercy Medical Center is hiring a Medical Assistant I to join our team in Maryland. The MA I supports physicians and providers, takes vital signs, assists with procedures, and maintains exam rooms and EHR documentation.

On-site training is provided, with occasional travel to satellite locations. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of MA or EMT-Paramedic experience; CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year experience as Medical Assistant or EMT-Paramedic preferred.
• CPR-preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist MD/NP/PA in procedures and patient care.
• Set up and assists with office procedures.
• Chaperone during examinations.
• Take vital signs and document in EHR.
• Prepare exam rooms and manage supplies.
• Travel to satellite locations as needed.
