Job summary

Mercy Medical Center, Baltimore, MD is hiring a Medical Assistant I to support physicians and nurses in outpatient settings. You will prepare examinations, take vital signs, and assist with procedures, with on-site training provided.

We offer a $1,500 sign-on bonus for MA & MOS hires through Dec 31, 2026, eligibility based on FTE status and job category, and a values-driven team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of Medical Assistant or EMT-Paramedic experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Set up and assist with office procedures and exams.
• Take vital signs and document medical histories.
• Assist MD/NP/PA during procedures and injections.
• Operate and maintain clinical equipment and EHR data entry.
• Travel to satellite locations as needed.
