Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved medical assistant program with certificate.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Understanding of diagnostic tests (CBC, CMP, UA).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take patient history and reason for visit.
• Record vital signs and pain levels.
• Perform health screenings ordered by physician or PA/NP/CNM.
• Document data into EMR and support orders and referrals.
• Maintain stocked exam rooms and inventory.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with procedures.
