Job summary

A leading children's healthcare provider in Ohio is looking for a part-time Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support for patients under the guidance of healthcare professionals. The role requires a high school diploma, completion of a Medical Assistant program, and BLS certification. Responsibilities include preparing patients for examinations, collecting vital signs, and processing laboratory specimens. This position offers a variable day shift and a $2,000 sign-on bonus, paid in full with the first paycheck.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Completion of an approved Medical Assistant or similar program is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing patients for examinations and record vital signs.
• Collect and submit laboratory specimens.
• Perform clinical duties and maintain examination rooms.
• Develop positive relationships with patients and families.
