Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.

• Strong communication and solid technical/clinical skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Greet and support patients virtually and in person; prepare them for visits; perform basic clinical tasks such as testing, injections, and EKGs; assist with exams; maintain exam rooms and equipment.
• Manage EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling; handle clerical duties; troubleshoot video visits; support patient portal access.

ChristianaCare's Center for Advanced Gynecology & Minimally Invasive Surgery provides specialized care for conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, abnormal bleeding, and chronic pelvic pain. Our expert surgeons use advanced, minimally invasive techniques to deliver safer procedures, shorter recovery times, and improved outcomes.

As a Medical Assistant I , you support physicians in virtual and on-site patient care, performing essential clinical and clerical duties to ensure quality care.

Hourly Pay Range

$19.48 - $28.24

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
