ChristianaCare’s Center for Advanced Gynecology & Minimally Invasive Surgery provides specialized care for conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, abnormal bleeding, and chronic pelvic pain. Our expert surgeons use advanced, minimally invasive techniques to deliver safer procedures, shorter recovery times, and improved outcomes.

Duties / Responsibilities:
The_ Medical Assistant I _greets and supports patients virtually and in person, prepares them for visits, performs basic clinical tasks (e.g., testing, injections, EKGs), assists with exams, and maintains exam rooms and equipment. They manage EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling, while handling clerical duties, troubleshooting video visits, and supporting patient portal access.

Position Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

Hourly Pay Range: $19.48 - $28.24

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
