ChristianaCare’s Medical Advantage at Milford is seeking a professional, dependable Medical Assistant I with strong communication, integrity, and solid technical and clinical skills. The MA I supports physicians in virtual and on-site patient care, performing essential clinical and clerical duties to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the NCCA or ANSI.

Responsabilités

• Greets and supports patients virtually and in person.
• Prepares patients for visits and performs basic clinical tasks (testing, injections, EKGs).
• Assists with exams and maintains exam rooms and equipment.
• Manages EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling.
• Handles clerical duties, troubleshooting video visits, and patient portal access.

Our My65+ team provides personalized, comprehensive care tailored to the unique needs of older adults. Patients receive coordinated, proactive healthcare from dedicated professionals committed to helping them live healthier, more independent lives.

Services Include:

• Annual Medicare Wellness Visits
• Chronic Disease Management
• Medication Review and Management
• Coordination of Care with Specialists

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Occasional cross training/coverage at Rehoboth practice

Duties / Responsibilities:
The_ Medical Assistant I _greets and supports patients virtually and in person, prepares them for visits, performs basic clinical tasks (e.g., testing, injections, EKGs), assists with exams, and maintains exam rooms and equipment. Position Qualifications:

Hourly Pay Range: $19.48 - $28.24

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
