UTHealth Houston Sienna Multispecialty Clinic in southwest Houston is hiring a Medical Assistant to join their team of professionals. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish) and have experience working with multiple specialties.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Saturdays as-needed

Position Summary:
Functions as a member of the clinical team performing a supportive role in the delivery of patient care that is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.
Position Key Accountabilities:
Certification/Skills:
Use and care of standard clinic equipment
Basic Life Support (BLS) certified
Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved Medical Assistant training program preferred
Minimum Experience:
Six months experience or completion of an approved Medical Assistant Training Program.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
Security Sensitive:
This job class may contain positions that are security sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code § 51.215
Residency Requirement:
Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
