Granger Medical Clinic in Murray is seeking a Medical Assistant I for a full-time position in our Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology clinic. The role supports physicians, PAs, nurses, and techs to deliver exceptional patient care and gain clinical exposure.

The position offers competitive wages ($17.50–$21.50 per hour) with a schedule Tue 8:50–6:00 and Wed–Fri 8:50–5:30. Prior scribe experience and healthcare training are preferred and strongly desired.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous scribe experience preferred.
• Healthcare training or certification strongly desired.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare in advance required information for patient visits.
• Greet, room and complete patient intake interview.
• Convey patient intake information to treating provider, accompany provider during patient exam.
• Transcribe information into the chart during exam and treatment discussion.
• Educate patients on proposed treatment plan and instructions.
• Return patient calls and relay information between provider and patient.
• Document all patient interactions in the electronic medical record.
• Assist procedure team with transferring patients and with recovery chairs.
• Instruct patients on after-care instructions and follow-up scheduling.
• Other duties as assigned.
