Granger Medical Clinic is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant I for our Murray Urology clinic. The role supports physicians, PAs, nurses and techs to provide patients with an excellent experience. Our team emphasizes compassionate care and efficient patient flow.

• Scribe experience helpful.
• Healthcare training or certification strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Prepare in advance required information for patient visits.
• Greet, room and complete patient intake interview.
• Convey patient intake information to treating provider, accompany provider during patient exam.
• Transcribe information into the chart as provider examines patient and discusses plan of care.
• Educate patients on proposed treatment plan and instructions.
• Return patient phone calls timely, relaying information between provider and patient.
• Document all patient interactions in the electronic medical record.
• Assist procedure team with transferring patients and aiding mobility.
• Instruct patients on after-care instructions and follow-up scheduling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
