Job summary

Epiphany Dermatology is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in Honolulu. You’ll welcome patients, prep them for visits, answer questions, and support providers during procedures to ensure smooth, quality care.

You’ll help manage exam rooms, assist with obtaining visit notes, processing prescriptions, and maintaining clinics operations. A state-approved Medical Assistant program completion and GED are required, with strong work ethic and compassion valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of a state-approved Medical Assistant program required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Provide the best patient experience - from warmly welcoming patients and prepping them for their visit to thoughtfully answering their care-related questions.
• Act as the right hand to the provider, supporting hands-on patient care by assisting during procedures, capturing detailed visit notes, fulfilling prescription orders, and anything else needed to ensure the appointment is as smooth and complete as possible.
• Keep the clinic running smoothly by staying on top of supplies, maintaining equipment, understanding the flow of exam rooms, and finding fun, creative ways to work smarter and more efficiently.
• Be a reliable teammate by jumping in to help, keeping things organized, and contributing to a positive, supportive environment.
